"As an artist, I have always been interested in line, value, color, and the play of light on objects. In 2005, after several years of painting still lifes, portraits, and landscapes, I started to paint flowers...and I found my joy! Watching the flowers 'grow' on my canvases, seeing their personalities emerge in their faces, their gestures unfold in their poses, and their dances with light, gives me great joy!
